I keep my biggest collection of photos on flickr. I’ve been uploading there for years. The site has changed so much recently I’m not sure if I love it or hate it, but I’ve got the biggest collection there. Here I’ll post mostly samples of my favorites, or ones where I want to give a little bit more back story. I’m from Minnesota, but live in Arizona, which is why you’ll see stuff from both places.

I’ve also been tinkering with Instagram, though I’m conflicted there too. They finally enabled wide and tall photos, and their filters and editing software are cool. On the other hand, having to upload only from my phone gets annoying.

I’m the pastor of  Lord of Grace Lutheran Church in Tucson (really Marana, but Tucson address). We’re a suburban church with lots of young families with kids.

I had another call, very part-time, as the mission developer (church planter) of a new venture called Open Space Church. We started in 2014, but had to close in 2022 because of losing so many people during covid. It was a small church that loves art and creativity, and have a lot of graffiti artists. That’s why you’ll see me with pictures of graffiti, even though I have no clue how to do it myself.

My family is hugely important to me, but you won’t see many pictures of them. They are real, but I try to keep their social media profiles low for now. I was glad I didn’t have my childhood online, so I’m going to do so mostly for them.
